Sorry again for slacking on the blog. Here is the digital idea of the day. I realize I just need to get up extra early and post stuff before I head out the door to work.
Anyways, via main man Terris is a nice video openFrameworks put on their site to showcasing several digital ideas using their C++ library. You can see more videos here. My favorite is the laser tag from grl that I saw about a year ago.

Another good friend of mine who I wanted to feature for designer of the day is Johnny Do It.
Johnny Do It or as I like to call him Johnny Drama and countless other Johnny _____ is a designer/illustrator straight out of Brooklyn. His use of kitschy illustration and mix media has landed him jobs at Superfad, Stardust and a other motion graphic studio. Johnny truly is an acclaimed artist whose work is part of the permanent collection of his mothers basement. Check out more of his work here.

Today I wanted to feature my good friend Goran Krstic.
Goran Krstic is a 23 year old NYC native and creative whose work ranges from design to illustration. His work has been published on the cover of CMYK #38 and in the monograph of Mirko Ilic. He is currently working
freelance and would love to talk about any projects you are interested in him working on. To see more of his work check out his site here.

I think this is my last topic of my series that I would try to post on my blog everyday.
After being introduced to Eduardo Recife I have become a huge fan of design from brazil. Over the weekend I went to the MOMA to see the tangled alphabet exhibit which just made me love Brazilian design even more.
So I wanted to feature a very talented Brazilian illustrator. Rubens is a 28 year old designer from São Paulo-Brasil who studied Industrial Design for three years but dropped out to pursue a career as a self taught designer. Rubens is a talented illustrator and show great technique in his drawings. Check more of his work here.

Jason Freeny has made some nice info graphic posters of what the anatomy of a Balloon Animal & Gummi Bear would look like. They are pretty sweet! Check out his site to see some more of Jason artworks and illustrations.
